POSITION PURPOSE:

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
American Airlines Federal Credit Union, well known for
its financial leadership, innovation and service, has an opening for a Member
Services Representative at its branch located at the Miami International
Airport. An important component of the MSR role is building positive
relationships with AAFCU members, which is key in understanding member needs
and recommending appropriate products and services to fulfill those needs.
Job duties include:
* Open new
accounts, sell and process Credit Union services for new and existing members
* Post
deposits and process loan payments
* Process
various monetary transactions and maintaining account information
* Perform
Notary Services as required
* Create and
promote positive name recognition for the Credit Union
* Work with
branch/department managers and leverage cross-selling opportunities
* Research
member inquiries and provide solutions as required in a timely manner
* Awareness of
all branch functions and duties to ensure proper support and coverage is
provided at all times
* Implementing
and enforcing internal control and security measures in accordance with Credit
Union policies and government regulations
* Fostering a
culture that promotes teamwork, service excellence and relationship building
within the covered branches and overall organization
* Input member
information for consumer loan applicants
* Flexibility
to perform other duties as assigned
* Work in a
rotating Saturday schedule as applicable
The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring
the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which
is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with
all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank
Secrecy Act.
Level to be determined based upon qualifications and
experience of candidate.
The schedule for this position will be set based upon
operational needs and may require a Saturday rotation. The selected candidate
must have flexibility to provide coverage any time during branch hours, as
needed, as well as attend required meetings before or after hours, if
scheduled.
REQUIRED SKILLS:

* College
degree preferred
* Previous
banking or Credit Union experience preferred
* Must be able
to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
* Bilingual,
including the ability to speak, read, and write Spanish is necessary
