DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
     * Reporting to the Miami Regional Manager of Global Investigations, the Security Coordinator is primarily responsible to ensure the safety and security of the customers, employees and corporate assets of American Airlines.
     * Conduct observations of outbound International flights based on criteria developed and identified by Customer and Border Patrol.
     * Work in coordination with Baggage Service, Cargo, Ramp Service and Customer Care Departments to ensure timely departures of flights.
     * Act as a liaison with all levels of law enforcement on criminal and security matters
     * Identify risk and suggest solutions to help mitigate loss.
     * Become familiar with and enforce all government and airline security regulations
     * Perform other duties as required by business needs of the department

REQUIRED SKILLS:
     * Minimum five years’ law enforcement or military experience

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The business Systems Analyst interacts with business units, other technology teams and the development team in describing software products and services to be delivered. The role focuses on determining operational objectives by analyzing business functions, gathering technical information, evaluating output requirements and recommending controls by identifying problems. BSA’s may be involved in supporting customer/business needs around user administration, configuration management (customer or off the shelf), communicating system behaviors, reporting, performance, monitoring, coordinating system needs (end of service life, patching, upgrading), support incoming bugs & defects as well as assist project managers with change requests, small enhancements and contribute to any incoming project initiatives.

Principal duties and responsibilities
     * Generating, decomposing, and managing requirements for developers and quality assurance personnel
     * Analyzing, validating and troubleshooting product at the sub-component level including validation of web service layer, ability to consume system logs, ability to traverse database, etc. Examples include XML interface, database validation, etc.
     * In addition, validates product at the sub-component level, examples include XML interface, database validation, etc.
     * Improves systems by studying current practices, designing modifications
     * Support distributed systems that may have database, message queue or other technological dependencies
     * Documenting and delivering technical artifacts including flow and sequence diagrams, UML models

REQUIRED SKILLS:
     * Undergraduate degree in CS/MIS/CIS/Technology or Business Analysis related field or equivalent experience/training

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     * Monitors the heavy check aircraft maintenance lines and coordinates with the vendors of heavy check maintenance to gain information on aircraft status

     * Coordinates with Schedule and Route Planning, Charter Services, and Corporate Finance to meet daily and future equipment needs for scheduled and unscheduled requests
     * Coordinates with Crew Planning to identify routes and crew pairings for possible cancellations, diversions, and aircraft gate availability at each field station for the Airline Disruption Plan, and provides this information to the planning units
     * Participates in the Airline Disruption Program
     * Participates in meetings and teleconference calls regarding current fleet status, maintenance, and system-wide operations
     * Manages the performance and statistics of broken trips
     * Utilizes PC programs to provide department with aircraft routing charts, transition schedules, and holiday cancellations when schedule changes are made
     * Interviews and hires new employees; plans, assigns, and directs work to appropriate personnel; evaluates, discusses, and reviews employee performance; rewards ad disciplines employees; addresses complaints and resolves employee issues

REQUIRED SKILLS:

POSITION PURPOSE:

     * Ensures smooth, efficient, and effective operation of line scheduling efforts
     * Overall responsibility for the assembly of workload requirements for the entire fleet through out the company maintenance system. Performs a daily optimization of manpower to insure that manpower available closely mirrors manpower scheduled.
     * Overall responsible for ensuring that all aspects of assigned work packages are properly resourced from a labor, material, tooling and facility perspective
     * Responsible for validating that all mandatory Company and FAA requirements are scheduled so as to not jeopardize the safe operation of the fleet; ensures that time tracked items are scheduled so as to prevent unnecessary grounding of aircraft
     * Overall responsible for ensuring that all reliability and project driven aircraft work is scheduled and completed within the prescribe timeframes so that the airline can benefit from increased reliability
     * Responsible for establishing and maintaining the effective communication flow between the Scheduling group and its principle customers and vendors which include but are not limited to the Project Planning group, Materials, Maintenance, Maintenance Control, Network Planning, Engineering
     * Oversees the development and execution of recovery programs to ensure that all critical maintenance tasks are assigned and properly provisioned so that the airline can quickly recover from off schedule operations that resulted from periods of heavy cancellations
     * Responsible for the development of processes and procedures to ensure that the Company maximizes its maintenance opportunities to enhance the reliability of the fleet (maintenance opportunities would include both scheduled and unscheduled events)
     * Identify and perform ad-hoc analysis to validate the effectiveness of the scheduling and report to senior management
     * Performs additional duties, as assigned

The Sales Manager is responsible for managing 7 to 10 direct reports (Specialists Corporate / Channel Sales, and/or Specialists Specialty Products).      * Account Planning: Identifies key account decision makers and influencers. Understands the customer’s decision making processes and identifies each key decision maker’s individual issues and wins. Assesses the competitive landscape within the account. Sets account objectives and establishes a plan for achieving objectives
     * Call Planning: Defines the customer agreement or commitment sought for each call. Develops supporting materials and leverages analytic insights to achieve the call objective. Prepares well for the call, anticipating and addressing barriers.
     * Customer Needs & Opportunities Assessment: Understands the account segmentation strategy and customer profiles. Engages customers in discussion/diagnosis of account business needs (both known and unknown). Documents and validates customer needs prior to presenting solutions.
     * Offering & Value Proposition Development, Communication & Proof: Maintains expertise in both AA and alliance products and services, including Oneworld and JB. Tailors the market offering to meet specific account needs. Communicates in a compelling way and provides proof of value to customer.
     * Negotiations: Justifies price and prevents customer from seeing AA’s offering as interchangeable with competitors. Understands the price/value relationship of each component in an offering. Effectively closes deals while ensuring mutual value.
     * Service & Support: Engages and leverages service and support channels within AA while personally providing the appropriate level of service. Collaborates with account services and support to identify new opportunities and needs.
     * Value Reinforcement, Account Penetration & Pull Through: Prepares compelling summaries of actual value delivered to customers, while being transparent where value has exceeded expectations and where it has fallen short. Conducts discussions with customers to understand their point of view and increase mutual value.
     * Sales Team Leadership: Sets effective strategies and fair goals that result in a performance-focused, high accountability sales culture. Continually searches for opportunities to improve team and individual performance for maximum success. Leads by example.
     * Managing the Internal System: Has a deep understanding of AA's internal business processes and protocols. Understands cross-functional capabilities and maintains a strong internal network.
     * Sales Coaching: Effectively coaches on value-based selling skills. Consistently reviews performance to uncover opportunities for improvement and identifies tangible actions that can improve performance.


REQUIRED SKILLS:
Education
     * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
     * Graduate Degree in Business Administration highly preferred

Experience  
     * At least 10 years of sales or related experience
     * Airline or business to business sales experience highly preferred
     * At least 2 to 3 years in sales management

Knowledge and Skills
     * Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills required
     * Ability to successfully coach and develop individuals in a competitive sales environment
     * Strong understanding and execution of value-based selling required
     * Spanish language a plus
     * Travel is required 50% of the time.
