DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

The RM/OR group drives improvements in revenue management systems by analyzing forecast and revenue data and implementing creative solutions to improve profitability.  Quantitative techniques utilized may include forecasting, mathematical programming and other optimization techniques, simulation, stochastic modeling, data mining, decision analysis, artificial intelligence and machine learning. A significant component of many assignments will be the implementation of prototype solutions using programming languages such as Python and Java, and statistical tools like SAS.
Individuals will develop a solid understanding of core airline economics and be well positioned for potential advancement.
  
REQUIRED SKILLS:

     * An advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics or a related field is required
     * Successful candidates will have a demonstrated aptitude for logical analysis, problem identification, and problem solving as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
     * The ability to use computer-based tools and programming languages to implement solutions is required.
     * Willingness to show initiative and take ownership of job responsibilities.
     * Experience solving large-scale problems and familiarity with the airline industry are a plus.
     * Working knowledge of SAS, Python and Java is also preferred.

 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for managing receivable balances associated with domestic cargo credit customers. The ideal candidate must properly balance the fiduciary needs of the company while building and maintaining a strong healthy relationship with the customer.

 The candidate will service and resolve Cargo receivable customer inquiries with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism, obtain payment on delinquent accounts, audit and investigate payment discrepancies and perform accounting related adjustments in accordance with proper accounting principles and company guidelines.
  
 REQUIRED SKILLS:
     * Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business degree preferred or equivalent work experience in related field

     * Strong PC skills necessary (MS Excel, MS Word, etc)

     * Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple competing deadlines and minimal supervision

     * Strong analytical and problem solving skills

     * Excellent written and verbal communication skills

     * Ability to read, write and speak the English language. Fluency in Spanish also a plus

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
There are five major job responsibilities for Customer Service Managers:

Provide Quality Service and Achieve Superior Customer Satisfaction
     * Resolve customer service and operational problems during tour of duty

     * Work in operation during peak or irregular periods

     * Spend majority of time in the operation, interacting with customers and employees

     * Prepare customer correspondence

     * Use cross-functional teams to generate and implement quality improvement ideas

     * Evaluate team performance through corporate quality control measurements, such as observations, CSI feedback, CSA data and customer complaints and compliments

Meet Profitability and Cost Control Goals
     * Develop and monitor budgets and spending

     * Actively seek cost reduction ideas

     * Monitor lost time and administer the Attendance Control Policy

Ensure Compliance with all Operations, AA Safety, FAA and Other Government Requirements during Tour of Duty
     * Investigates discrepancies and compiles statistical data for compliance purposes

     * Write delay analysis and irregularity reports and complete OS1 documentation

Provide Team Members with Fair and Equitable Treatment
     * Coach and counsel personnel and provide guidance to team on customer service and performance issues

     * Conduct performance reviews for team members on a regular basis

     * Document employee performance using Peak Performance through Commitment (PPC)

     * Encourage employee teamwork to generate and implement individual and team's best ideas

     * Respond to employees' professional and personal issues

     * Conduct investigations and Boards of Inquiry (BOI) and, when necessary, dismiss employees for performance or attendance issues

Run an Effective Operation
     * Communicate with managers, peers and team members, both within their immediate department, as well as with other departments

     * Administer company policies and procedures

     * Provide team with necessary tools, resources and training to meet or exceed all operational performance goals

     * Involve all team members in determination of operational improvements

     * Coordinate operation including scheduling, hiring, training, inventory, etc.


REQUIRED SKILLS:
     * Must be able to lead and motivate employees in working as a team

     * Must be decisive and be able to work under demanding operational conditions in a stressful environment

     * Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, leadership, initiative and judgment

     * Must demonstrate strong administrative and analytical abilities

     * Must be willing to work outdoors in any weather conditions in accordance to AA Safety Guidelines

     * Must be willing to work extra hours when there are operational needs, such as weather delays

     * Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays and days-off

     * Must be able to become certified Ground Security Coordinator (GSC), if applicable

     * Prior Airport Services experience preferred

     * Knowledge of company policies and procedures, applicable SABRE and other functional automation knowledge

     * Alternative work schedules, including evenings weekends and holidays
     * Ability to push or pull moveable carts weighing in excess of 250 pounds
     * Ability to lift objects up to 35 pounds such as galley stowage bins and carry-on baggage


REQUIRED SKILLS:
     * Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
     * Competent in handling difficult situations, problem solving and complaint resolution
     * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; friendly reception of all customers
     * Must present a professional image, may not have visible tattoos, facial, multiple or upper ear piercing, or extreme hair color or style while in Flight Attendant Uniform
     * Work in climates and locations across the globe and work variable shifts
     * Able to attend up to 6 1/2 weeks of unpaid training in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, and move immediately to the city to which you are assigned as a base


Requirements

     * High school diploma or GED equivalent required
     * College education or two years' customer service experience preferred
     * Prior airline experience is not required
     * Must be at least 20 years of age
     * Must be in possession of a valid US or Foreign Passport with applicable VISAs
     * Must possess the legal right to travel unrestricted to/from all countries that are served by American Airlines
     * Travel documents must remain valid throughout all phases of training and employment
     * Must have the right to work in the United States
