DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for managing receivable balances associated with domestic cargo credit customers. The ideal candidate must properly balance the fiduciary needs of the company while building and maintaining a strong healthy relationship with the customer.

The candidate will service and resolve Cargo receivable customer inquiries with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism, obtain payment on delinquent accounts, audit and investigate payment discrepancies and perform accounting related adjustments in accordance with proper accounting principles and company guidelines.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
     * Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business degree preferred or equivalent work experience in related field

     * Strong PC skills necessary (MS Excel, MS Word, etc)

     * Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple competing deadlines and minimal supervision

     * Strong analytical and problem solving skills

     * Excellent written and verbal communication skills

     * Ability to read, write and speak the English language. Fluency in Spanish also a plus

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

POSITION PURPOSE:
The position has the overall responsibility for timely and accurate processing of assigned employee payroll checks including collection, review, input, edit, output, and verification of payroll data.  Explain and interpret complex payroll information to employees at all levels of the organization.  Use of analytical skills to identify and address potential issues.  Assist in specialized processing and assigned projects, requiring more detailed knowledge of payroll procedures.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
     * Process outside department timekeeping data accurately by the required deadline
     * Consistently apply company policy and government regulations to all processing
     * Review audit reports for processing errors and request corrections as necessary
     * Research employee questions and provide resolution, as dictated by company policy
     * Review contracts and apply special processing requirements to specialized workforce groups, such as unions
     * Organize and maintain records to enable special processing that reduces the occurrences of incorrect payroll payments
     * Assist in special projects and testing of new processing systems
     * Provide training as needed
     * Communicate all discrepancies to payroll supervisor or department timekeeper as necessary
     * Other duties as required

REQUIRED SKILLS:
     * Seven or more years of business experience
     * Five or more years of working in a high volume, multi-state payroll department
     * Familiarity with accounting principles relating to funds disbursements, payroll tax statutory requirements and payment regulations
     * Familiarity with garnishment processing
     * Above average customer service, communication, and organizational skills
     * Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
     * Ability to work as a team player in a high stress environment
     * Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
     * Business education, technical training, some college, and CPP preferred

     * Participate in architectural and engineering meetings to ensure enterprise networking service requirements are understood and met accordingly.
     * Maximizes network performance tools capabilities by monitoring appliance health; troubleshooting and resolving tools outages and patching.
     * Collaborates with network service architect on tool enhancements and optimization.
     * Test, evaluate, and install enhancements that will provide additional tools capabilities.
     * Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Skills/Knowledge

     * Strong knowledge of information systems tools (Cisco, Opnet, Riverbed, Infoblox).
     * Strong working knowledge of routers and L2/L3 switches.  Also have a good understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, SNMP), routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF), WAN and LAN technologies (VRF, VLANs). 
     * Good understanding of VoIP, QoS, and policy-based routing with Cisco and HP equipment. 
     * Demonstrate technical problem solving skills, have strong presentation and analytical skills, and possess a strong desire to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to interact and with teams across multiple platforms and in varying environments
     * Excellent oral and written communication skills.
