DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Represents
the company and serves as the principal commercial intermediary in business
transactions with both internal and external organizations
* Creates,
negotiates, implements and manages long term purchase agreements while
effectively developing and promoting strategic partnerships with suppliers
* Accountable
for managing the cost of products and services while acting in a leadership/facilitator
role as the manager of product/service and supplier strategies
* Performs all
required strategic sourcing functions, from establishing internal stakeholder
requirements to the completion of acceptable purchase contracts that brings
measurable value to the corporation
* Responsible
for developing and implementing comprehensive strategic programs which meet the
needs of the internal stakeholders while addressing pricing, acquisition, total
cost, lead-time and supply
REQUIRED SKILLS:
* Bachelor’s degree required in related
field, or 2-3 related experience (i.e. contract management, research and
analysis, etc.)
* A potential
team leader with strong customer orientation

Ability/flexibility to negotiate and mediate
* Self-directed and resourceful with the
ability to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks with exhibited follow through
and initiative
* Advanced
business understanding particularly in project management, commodity markets,
early supplier involvement, total cost management and financial analysis

Understanding and use of technical tools for analysis, problem solving,
forecasting and quality improvement
* Skilled in
organizational and interpersonal dealings
* Excellent
oral and written communication skills
* High ethical
standards
* Self-

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under general direction, coordinate, develop, and deliver
regulatory and company-mandated Ground Operations Control Center
Training. Work directly with Sr. Learning Specialist to implement Initial
Control Center Training.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Deliver in a
classroom setting American Airlines mandated initial, recurrent and operational
training programs
* Supervise
students while in training including: On the job training,
performance assessment, performance management, counseling/coaching,
administering progressive counseling, when necessary
* Ensure
students are given proper credit and certification for course completion
* Perform
needs analysis; assist with designing training curriculum/materials to meet
corporate objectives
* Update and
maintain current course curricula; always ensure course content is up to date
and accurate
* Support and
participate in special projects/programs as requested by internal customers
* Develop
positive relationships with corporate departments and station personnel
* Take part in
Alpha/Beta classes; provide feedback to Sr. Learning Specialist
* Complete
personal expense reports timely, accurately and efficiently
REQUIRED SKILLS:
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* At least one
year Airport Ground Operations
* In-depth
knowledge of and proficiency in all aspects of airport operations
* Previous
experience in conducting classroom style training delivery
* Proficient
in American Airlines Sabre DECS/FOS system
* Ability to read, write, fluently speak
and understand the English language
* Excellent
written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively
with employees from all departments and levels
* Demonstrated
effective presentation skills
* Motivated
self-starter with proven leadership skills
* Ability to
manage multiple projects efficiently and effectively
* Effective
planning, organization, and time management skills
* Proficient
with Microsoft Office software
* Ability to
work days/evenings/weekends
* Valid
Passport
* Must be able
and willing to travel extensively both domestic and internationally to
facilitate courses and provide mentoring/support
