Participants of the program will qualify to receive certification
from the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute, by successfully
completing practical training and passing exams in the following areas: Service
Excellence, Banquet Setup, and Restaurant Server. Participants will also
qualify to receive Food Handler Certification from the Florida Restaurant &
Lodging Association. Additionally, participants will gain training in valuable
Life Skills, including communication skills, resume & cover letter writing,
professional job interviewing, managing personal finances, professional image
and basic computer skills.
